Description

The Millennium Al Aqeeq Madinah Hotel on Musab Bin Omair Street is just two blocks from Masjid An Nabawi, the second holiest mosque in Islam and one of the most important destinations for Muslims worldwide as it is a mosque the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him) built himself.

It’s a short walk to reach the mosque’s King Fahd Gate from the hotel. This is perfect especially if you wish to maximise your Madinah visit and devote a hefty portion of your time in devout prayer and reflection.

A Millennium Al Aqeeq Hotel Madinah booking also puts you close to other Madinah destinations.

Jannat-ul Baqi or Al Baqi Cemetery, the resting place of the immediate family members and all but two of the wives of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), is just 1.6 km away.

Masjid Quba, one of the world’s oldest mosques, Masjid Shuhada Uhud, where you can find the grave of Hazrat Hamzahibn Abd al-Muttalib (an uncle and a companion of the Prophet, PBUH), and the Dar Al Madinah Museum that showcases the history of the city are all more or less a 15-minute drive away. You may write to the Al Aqeeq Madinah hotel email address to request information on other nearby Madinah attractions.

The hotel has two restaurants on site: Al Majeedi and Al Multaqa, both of which offer a range of international cuisines. There is also a coffee shop, Cafe to Go, perfect for business meetings and casual, friendly meet-ups. You can contact the hotel through the Al Aqeeq Hotel contact number for more information about your dining options or to get a copy of the Al Aqeeq Madinah hotel menu.

I just checked in 10 minutes ago. Here’s my first impression: 1. When I walked in there was a guy yelling with staff because staff apparently accessed his room without consent. I can’t verify any of his story and not sure what happened but it did not set the stage very well with the shouting and accusations. 2. Upon arriving by taxi, nobody helped me or my elderly mom with the luggage or even said anything to us at all. No greeting or direction to the check-in counter. Just chaos similar to walking into a fish market. 3. When waiting to check in a Saudi man jumped the line in front of me and the receptionist helped him immediately. I told him that it’s not right to treat people differently based on nationality. He didn’t seem to care or apologize, just got me checked in and out of the way. 4. Got the executive room and to be fair it’s pretty nice can’t complain, but not a true 5 star hotel. It’s a bit dated, I’d say it’s a 3.5 star at best. Still good value for money though. I doubt that the service you get here will be comparable to real 5 star hotels like the W or the Ritz but you get what you pay for. You will be satisfied if all you’re expecting is a clean room in a conveniently located hotel. You won’t be satisfied if you’re expecting average or above average service or any luxury experiences.

Aside from location, this is probably the worst hotel I have stayed at. I did not have housekeeping at all, I had to request towels because it was never delivered. Food was stale and cold consistently. Staff not welcoming. Elevators were tiny and slow-so if you have children or wheelchair, you have to wait a while. The bathroom leaked. The light switches were impossible to figure out. Half the light switches don’t even work. Two twin size beds in one room pushed together with zero space to walk in the room. It was a difficult stay. I would not come back here unfortunately.

Terrible hotel. Possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. 4 day stay- the rooms were only cleaned once after i asked the cleaner to do it. The food is terrible. Breakfast service appalling. The tables are not cleaned and left with dirty plates on them. there was almost no food at 7 am. I had to ask the manager to clean the tables. I sat outside the toilet to eat breakfast because none of the tables were cleaned. Very poorly run hotel.

During my recent stay at the Al Aqeeq Madinah Hotel, I had both positive and negative experiences. Firstly, the hotel's location was very convenient as it was located close to the Madina Al Munawarman Mosque and there were plenty of stores nearby. This made it easy for me to explore the area during my stay. The hotel's restaurant was also impressive, offering a variety of international food options and most of it was delicious. However, I was disappointed with the front staff of the restaurant. Despite having a package for three people, which included breakfast, lunch, and dinner, they kept mistaking the number of guests in my party. This happened every time we entered the restaurant (and we stayed there for 4 nights) which was frustrating. On the other hand, the hotel's lobby had a small Starbucks store, which was a nice touch. I particularly enjoyed the comfort of the hotel's beds. They were soft and comfortable, and I was able to fall asleep immediately upon lying down. The hotel's size was not too big, the elevator was small and not very effective. This caused a bit of inconvenience, especially during rush hour, as I had to wait a while for the elevator.
