Meh. I specifically came to eat here because I read a positive blog post online. Very underwhelming, especially at the price. We started with the lamb sambosahs, which were enjoyable enough. For one main, we had the Chicken Saleeq Al Taif, which is supposedly one of their specialties. It was ok but surprisingly bland. The real shame was the lamb. 145 SARS and maybe one and half bites of edible lamb meat. The rest was fat. We mentioned it to the waiter, who didn't seem too concerned. When we pressed the issue, he sent out the chef, who told us that the Saudi way is to have mostly fat for the lamb. Umm, ok, I admit there are probably people out there who are more well-versed on Saudi cuisine than me. BUT, i ate it for 10 days (including lamb at other places), and the food was awesome everywhere else. I've also eaten lamb around the middle east. This was the only occasion where it was 97% fat.
Oh and also, I asked for tea and they told me i can get up and get it myself "over there". I mean, that would be fine for a fast/casual cheap eats place. But at this price point, please bring the tea to the table.
