Restaurant turc Assaraya - Riyad Non réclamés

Assaraya was introduced to me by my husband as I am new to the country. I have been here on 2 occasions and I did not leave disappointed. We are a family of 5, 3 kids and 2 adults. The menu offered a variety of dishes which made ordering for picky kids quite easy. We ordered a mix grill, chicken, fries and an appetiser of baba ghanoush with the turkish bread. We ordered a few different drinks to sample which was affordable accompanied with our water which was cheap. Every dish was delicious and tasy especially the mixed grill. The chops was soft and succulent and reminded me of home. We ordered a big portion of fries which we were surprised to see that it was actually the size of a single serving. The fries were served with tomato sauce (ketchup) and their homemade garlic sauce which is the BEST garlic sauce I have ever had in Riyadh. You can taste that it was prepared in-house with fresh garlic. It has the consistency and texture of a soft paste. On both occasions I asked to take the sauce home :) The staff were friendly and hospitable and we loved that they offered dining behind a curtain for extra privacy for myself and my daughters. The food was served fast and quick which is a bonus for hungry diners. Assaraya is definitely one of our favourite restaurants in Riyadh and will see us more often.

Assaraya is a family friendly and casual dining restaurant serving authentic delicious Turkish food. The restaurant consists of three floors and has a beautiful interior that reflects the Turkish design with beautiful ambiance. Their menu offers a wide variety of mouthwatering dishes such as mixed grills, shawarma, mezza appetizers, claypot dishes as well as refreshing juices and traditional sweets. The restaurant is usually very busy during the weekend. It’s one of my favorite frequently visited restaurant in an affordable range.

Great spot near Olaya. We stumbled upon this place while out searching for something else & were quite happy we did! The Turkish bread is massive & quite tasty. I am vegetarian & ordered the eggplant clay pot dish which was awesome. I’m a lemon mint addict & ended up getting two. Would definitely go back!

Good Turkish Food, specially Bar BQ platter and Humas. Their Big Naan(Bread) is awesome. Staff behaviour is very casual. Overall recommendation is good.

The food was not to standard. No special flavor or taste. The taste was very similar to any regular restaurant you can find on a street corner. Barbecue chicken (mashawi) is very basic 1/5, rice was not served fresh 1/5, hummus is not tasty and seems to be cheap!!. 1/5 Keba was 2/5. Soup 2/5.
