Villa Park

It helped that Villa won and played well, the atmosphere was excellent. The climb up to the upper tier of the Trinity Road stand was very strenuous but there were lifts available at the Witton end of the stand, leaving was slow as the amount of staircases in use was limited. Food very good and not over priced. View excellent and stadium a credit to the club. I payed to park off Church Road to the south, it was all well organised.

Managed to get seats in Row J of Block L 5 of the Holte End and got a really good view of the goal at that end of the pitch. Shame the game (v West Ham) produced little in the way of goalmouth action, but that's not the fault of the venue. Reasonably quick good and drink service despite a near sell out crowd and good entry and exit to both the ground and the seats. I will return but maybe when results improve as I don't think I could sit through that kind of performance again.

Fab tour the kids loved it, we are not Aston Villa fans, we just love football and seen as we are in The area, we just went to see what it was like at villa park, what can I say….. we was welcomed with open arms they tried to convince us to become villa fans and had a little banter about them being better than our clubs. The tour guide Keith was very knowledgeable and if he ever bleeds I’m sure his blood would be the claret and blue colour. Villa has a long history and a lovely stadium. Thanks for having us in your stadium.

I visited Villa park as a neutral drawing the Everton game. Inside of the stadium. The seating was really good. The views were also very good with no restrictions with my particular seat. When inside of the ground there were plenty of stewards who were very helpful and on hand to support when needed. However, When going to get drinks and to use the toilet. This was not great. The toilets need a refurbishment and the area to get the drinks and the food was not very big and got quite tight during the start of the game and at half time. There was also a problem leaving the stadium. There was only one stairway out of my particular area and only two staircases and down to leave the ground which again is not perfect and caused a massive backlog attempting to leave the stadium. The stadium has plenty of potential but needs major refurbishments, especially of the toilets and refurbishment areas.
