Located in Dawasir valley in Najd, Saudi Arabia, Wadi ad Dawasir is the hometown of the Al Dawasir tribe. It is situated towards the west of the Oroug Bani M'aradh Wildlife Sanctuary and is a hot and barren area with small hills towards the eastern part. It is divided into three main neighborhoods, Alnowaima, Alkhamaseen, and Allidam, and according to the latest estimations, the town's population is around 185,000.

Geography

This place has many circular farms that cover more than 60 percent of the town. It has one main road that connects all the major areas of the town, which are mainly hospitals and a few industrial complexes.

Most of the locals are farmers and use their land very efficiently to grow different crops to make a living. It is fair to say that agriculture is the backbone of the town, and most families depend on the produce that they get from their lands. Some of the major crops here include sweet potatoes, corn, beans, tomatoes, and peppers. The weather here is harsh, and during the peak summer season, the temperature rises north of 50 degrees celsius on a regular basis.
