Description

Located in Al Jubail mountain around 30 kilometers southeast of Riyadh, Heet cave is famous for two things in particular: its limestone formations and its crystal clear waters that make it an ideal for adventurers and explorers.

The underground lake in the heart of the cave is more than 30 meters deep. The water level used to be much higher in the past which made it an easy water supply for travelers and passers-by. The cave also has a number of sinkholes, which serve as the entrance to water reservoirs underneath the surface of the cave.

Inside the Cave

To get to the Heet Cave you have to go through the scorching heat of the desert, but the moment you enter the cave you will forget that you are in one of the hottest parts of Riyadh because of the cooling effect created by the limestone walls and the lake.

The cave’s limestone walls, coupled with crystal clear water, make for an enchanting sight that one has to see to believe. All of these things come together to make Heet Cave an amazing place for nature lovers and explorers.

It's looking like a mining field. A gave deep among 150 meters ... there's no good stairs or path for step down there... dangerous way slopes like 70/80° full of rocks ... be prepared for that won't bring kids there they may afraid of it's way... no drinking water no shops bring all you want with you.... you can't get anything there ...

Nice place to visit and not too far from Riyadh … impressive high overhanging rock formation . The water cave is deep down and unfortunately the water in the cave is not prestine but poised with litter ( plastic bags )… their is a nice cool atmosphere Near the water pool and when you descend to it. By car you can get pretty close by normal tarmac road and only the last 1.5 km is by hardened off road track. ( suitable for saloon cars )
