Description

Located in Al Jubail mountain around 30 kilometers southeast of Riyadh, Heet cave is famous for two things in particular: its limestone formations and its crystal clear waters that make it an ideal for adventurers and explorers.

The underground lake in the heart of the cave is more than 30 meters deep. The water level used to be much higher in the past which made it an easy water supply for travelers and passers-by. The cave also has a number of sinkholes, which serve as the entrance to water reservoirs underneath the surface of the cave.

Inside the Cave

To get to the Heet Cave you have to go through the scorching heat of the desert, but the moment you enter the cave you will forget that you are in one of the hottest parts of Riyadh because of the cooling effect created by the limestone walls and the lake.

The cave’s limestone walls, coupled with crystal clear water, make for an enchanting sight that one has to see to believe. All of these things come together to make Heet Cave an amazing place for nature lovers and explorers.

‏Lack of oxygen, if you are asthema patient don’t go too down, somehow it’s dangerous and there is possibility of land sliding , water is cold and clean, if you adventurous person you must visit, bring enough water with you. Over all it’s nice place.

Good place to visit with friends. But not recommended for families. Rocky areas. Note: whenever you visit please don not throw waste into water.

This is actually a natural cave. Its one of a destination which you can see in riyadh. This cave have water on the bottom. Since this is a natural made , there are no safety measures to prevent accident. When i went there, the water over there is so dirty and black. But i heard before its used to be clean and people used to take baths and all. Now they have made it dirty. Its better not to go into the waters. Also do not go there during rains. There is a high chance the rocks on the top might fall. Otherwise a good place. You can bring kids but a little hiking, do care. Plenty of parking and entry is free. I do recommed going there before sunset.

I would give only 2 ⭐coz of the polluted water over there. The place is only good for taking some pictures, better to go before the sunset. The chirping of birds sound good.
