Description

Located on the Jeddah Corniche, the waterfront is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the city. From watersports and play areas to public facilities, the waterfront has it all. The sea has always been a primary attraction in Jeddah which is why Jeddah Waterfront was built by the red sea as a place where families can relax and have fun.

Activities

Jeddah waterfront offers something for everyone. There are concrete and wooden huts on the beach where you can spend the night or have a picnic with your family.

Inside the waterfront is the longest pedestrian bridge in the Kingdom. In addition, there are bicycles available for rent so that visitors can ride them along the corniche on the cycling path. A wide choice of restaurants, coffee shops, and stalls is also available that offer tons of different dining options from regional cuisines to international foods. Moreover, visitors can indulge in fishing, jet skiing, and boating.

For art lovers, there is an open-air museum on the waterfront that houses sculptures ranging from traditional Arabic to abstract and monumental. Free Wi-Fi along with mobile charging slots are available all over the waterfront, so you never miss out on anything. The waterfront also has the huge Jeddah Sign that is a popular landmark on its own. A visit to the waterfront is ideal during winters or autumn when the weather is not too hot or cold.

Very nice and exhilarating experience to enjoy jeddah waterfront and new corniche, especially, when the weather is nice. Only issue not many places to sit and enjoy your time by the sea. I went there before sundown and the weather was a bit windy amid the scorching humidity known to Jeddah. Even though, for a few moments, it was breezy and a little cool. Took some great videos and pictures, and I would always come back if I can.

It is an amazing waterfront place that has parks, playgrounds, gardens there but unfortunately that day we came , we couldn’t use the bathrooms because we don’t have cash and the cards machine is out of service. The guy who works there told me to go to the office so I can use my debit card but there is nobody in there!!! This is very disappointing and a serious problem as it is a normal human rights. The government is working hard to make everything great but some workers are not honest in there duties.
